One of the best local matchas I’ve tried. The flavor profile is similar to Yamamasa Koyamaen’s Shikibu no mukashi. You can taste the umami and it has little to no astringency. Would repurchase again!

From the get-go, given that it is a local brand, I honestly didn’t expect much. My oh my, was I wrong! The matcha itself is very smooth and not at all grainy. Flavor-wise, it’s super nutty and there’s almost no astringency to it. It’s also already quite sweet on its own without a sweetener, so plus points for that!

I actually give it a 4.5/5 if I were to compare it to authentic, ceremonial grade Japanese brands, but that’s only bc I’m very particular abt my matchas. However, for its overall price and quality, I think it definitely deserves a 5 naman hehe 😋

I'm so glad I saw this local matcha brand during my visit to Dover Cafe in Pampanga. Upon scanning the packaging for the first time, I knew it was already going to be good quality. Fortunately tried their hojicha at their WOFEX booth, I ordered as soon as I got home! It’s worth every cent, so much better than those in the shopping apps.

Since there is no stock for ceremonical, the premium culinary grade matcha is your next affordable option. I like the taste, and its aroma. Worth the buck even though there is a slighly bitter aftertaste. Nothing a sweetener can fix tho. Will buy again for sure
